Y Llwyn Guest House is in the picturesque village of Llandrillo, at the foot of the Berwyn mountains, near the unspoilt market town of Bala, only 10 minutes away. with it's largest natural lake in Wales - Tegid. Water sports like sailing, canoeing and rafting is available on the lake and Canolfan Tryweryn, White Water centre.

Also nearby is Ruthin and Llangollen. 11 and 15 miles away, with golfing, walking, cycling, bird-watching, and fishing, with beautiful scenery in every direction.

Y Llwyn is within an hour from the north and west coast of Wales, historical castles- Caernarfon, Portmeirion Italian village and Chester with it's Roman City Walls. We're on the outskirts of Snowdonia National Park with it's rugged mountains and beautiful scenery.

The Berwyn mountains are renowned for wild life, and if you are a twitcher, the black grouse and hawk would be of special interest.

Put your walking boots on and walk over Cadair Bronwen to see the waterfall at Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant, which is one of the seven wonders of Wales, and higher than the Niagra falls.

The home-cooked food at Y Llwyn is excellent , well known for it's home made jam and bread. Restaurants are within walking distance, and the pub.
